Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Partnering with Growth product, design, engineering, and marketing leaders, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will shape customer acquisition and retention strategies by analyzing the growth funnel and providing data-driven recommendations, while working remotely or in specified locations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high-impact business questions to influence product development and strategy
• Own the growth funnel metrics, from initial visit through signup, activation, and retention
• Design and analyze experiments to assess the effectiveness of changes and guide future actions

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, or growth analytics, with 3+ years in product growth teams
• Strong product sense and a proven track record of influencing product direction
• Deep experience in experiment design and analysis, as well as funnel and retention analysis
• Fluency in SQL and a statistical programming language (e.g., Python, R)
• Experience with product analytics and BI tools such as Amplitude or similar; familiarity with Snowflake and dbt is a plus
