Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To enhance data science capabilities, the remote Senior Data Scientist will develop and implement strategies for machine learning models, collaborate with stakeholders for actionable insights, and drive end-to-end data science initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement data science strategies for machine learning models, including lead scoring and fraud detection
• Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and measurable business impact
• Drive end-to-end data science initiatives, from data gathering and analysis to model selection and monitoring

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience as a Data Scientist/ML Engineer in high-growth environments
• Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling, proficient in Python and SQL
• MS/PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• A bias toward simple, effective ML solutions before exploring complex approaches
• Ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
