Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Leading innovative analytics initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will work remotely to develop and implement forecasting and optimization models that enhance supply chain efficiency and accuracy while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently formulate and develop forecasting, optimization, and machine learning models, managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align data science solutions with business needs and ensure successful model deployment
• Mentor Associate Data Scientists and Data Scientists, guiding them in data science methodologies and stakeholder interactions

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, statistics, or a related field with 3+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in data science
• Expertise in machine learning techniques, including classification, regression, clustering, and deep learning
• Experience with cloud platforms for creating and deploying machine learning models
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, and SQL, with experience in writing production-grade code
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and the ability to navigate a data lake environment for creating training datasets
