Senior Data Scientist
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Data Scientist, the remote position will design and architect data systems, develop data pipelines, and ensure data quality and governance to enhance cardiovascular care through innovative analytics and disease management.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, construction, and optimization of scalable and secure data architecture
- Own the design and evolution of healthcare data models and schemas, leveraging industry standards
- Build and maintain complex data pipelines that ensure data integrity and usability across applications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a Data Scientist or Data Engineering role, preferably in healthcare technology
- Deep experience with healthcare data standards such as TUVA, OMOP, or FHIR
- Expert proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language for data processing (Python or Scala)
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse technologies and big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark
