Senior Data Scientist
Job Summary
Owning the analytical and experimentation roadmap for ranking and relevance, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with product, engineering, and machine learning teams to enhance advertiser outcomes and user engagement in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the data science strategy and roadmap for ranking and relevance
- Partner with engineers to improve ranking models and design experiments that translate into actionable recommendations
- Quantify commercial impact and guide senior leaders on priorities and product decisions
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied analytics
- Proven experience in owning the analytical roadmap for ranking or relevance
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, preferably Python
- Experience with large-scale data systems such as Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, or Spark
- Demonstrated ability to influence strategy and launch decisions based on analytical insights
