Senior Data Scientist
Job Summary
To support the People Analytics & Research team, the remote Senior Data Scientist will lead rigorous inferential research on observational people data, focusing on recruitment, retention, and compensation analytics while collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze people-related business problems and gather relevant data
- Utilize statistical models and methodologies to gain insights into processes such as hiring, promotion, and pay equity
- Translate data insights into visualizations and narratives that inform strategy and decision-making
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience with a Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field
- Deep expertise in causal inference and quasi-experimental research design
- Proficiency in R or Python for statistical analysis, and SQL for data access
- Experience applying data science to compensation and workforce-related questions
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional partners of varying technical levels
