Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Designing and implementing machine learning models, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will analyze medical claims data, create visualizations, and collaborate with engineering teams to deploy solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms for business problems related to medical claims
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
• 3+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related analytical role
• Strong programming skills in Python or R, and proficiency with data manipulation libraries
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models using frameworks such as scikit-learn or TensorFlow
• Proficiency with SQL and experience working with relational databases
