Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Data Scientist focused on growth and engagement, this remote position will independently design and execute product experiments, develop predictive models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user retention and engagement through data-driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Independently design, execute, and interpret product experiments, defining primary metrics and guardrails
• Develop predictive models to inform lifecycle intervention systems and drive user engagement and revenue outcomes
• Frame causal questions and define KPI frameworks, linking product objectives to measurable success criteria

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied analytics in product-driven environments
• Proven track record of end-to-end experiment design and using results to inform product decisions
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, preferably Python
• Experience with large-scale data systems such as Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, or Spark
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
