Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Scientist will engage with stakeholders to frame critical questions, build data pipelines, and analyze both structured and unstructured data to provide actionable insights for government programs.

Key responsibilities

• Engage executive and program stakeholders to identify and answer complex questions with data
• Organize data and build data pipelines using tools like Palantir Foundry and PowerBI
• Visualize data and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required qualifications

• Experience with modern data engineering techniques for data cleaning and preprocessing
• Ability to design and build statistical models that are credible and accessible
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
• Experience in building lightweight tools and automations using low-code platforms
• Ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams in an iterative delivery environment
