Job Summary
Working remotely with the option for in-person collaboration in Manhattan, the full-time Senior Data Scientist II will develop advanced modeling solutions using bank transaction data to enhance financial products and drive business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Independently design, build, evaluate, and iterate on AI/ML models to enable new product capabilities
- Rapidly experiment and provide proofs of concept while balancing short-term outcomes with long-term opportunities
- Collaborate with Data and Machine Learning Engineering teams to ensure model scalability and data availability
Required qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, including relevant PhD work
- 2+ years of experience with data in Financial Services
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Spark/PySpark is a plus
- Solid understanding of probability, statistics, and applied research methods
