Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Owning traditional machine learning models and evaluating agentic AI workflows, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will work remotely to drive operational improvements and patient outcomes while collaborating with data engineers and mentoring newer teammates.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage traditional machine learning models to answer operational questions related to patient behavior and optimize processes
• Evaluate agentic AI workflows to ensure reliability and support generative workflow development decisions
• Collaborate with data engineers to source and prepare training data, managing the modeling data end-to-end

Required Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in data science, with a focus on predictive modeling and deployment
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in cloud ML platforms such as Snowflake ML or Amazon SageMaker
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate model performance and understand statistical concepts like leakage and drift
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and the ability to critically assess their outputs
• Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment and mentor junior team members
