Job Summary
Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Scientist, the full-time remote position will focus on managing biomarker and clinical data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to the development of ontologies and data standards.
Key responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally to perform source-to-target mappings between incoming data and the data model
- Help develop scalable models to automate mapping of source-to-target data
- Evaluate and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability
Required qualifications
- Strong expertise in bioinformatics, clinical data science, or a related field
- Experience with biomarker and/or genomic ontologies or terminologies
- Familiarity with healthcare ontologies or terminologies (ICD, SNOMED, LOINC, etc.)
- Experience with evaluating and ensuring data quality (e.g., completeness, accuracy)
- Collaborative mindset with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
