Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a growing lending program, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will build and manage machine learning models for transaction classification, revenue estimation, and anomaly detection while collaborating with Credit and Product teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own models for the lending program, including transaction classification and forecasting
• Transform messy data streams into actionable insights regarding business health
• Deploy models into production with monitoring and documentation for reliability

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building ML models, with at least 1 year in lending or credit algorithms
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in production-grade services
• Ability to communicate complex models to diverse stakeholders, including credit officers and engineers
• Experience with deep-learning or transformer models in a professional context
• Quantitative degree or equivalent experience in data science
