Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Owning the reliability and quality bar for an AI copilot in a trading platform, the full-time remote Senior Data Scientist will design evaluation systems, develop benchmarks, and implement automated quality gates while collaborating with engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build evaluation systems to measure correctness, safety, latency, and regression risk across trading workflows
• Develop and maintain benchmarks and automated quality gates to ensure product performance and reliability
• Partner with engineering and product teams to define safe tool/action contracts and improve model performance through iterative feedback loops

Required qualifications

• At least eight (8) years of experience shipping production software with strong proficiency in any programming language
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, testing methodology, and systems design
• Experience building evaluation frameworks and benchmark suites for complex systems
• Ability to define metrics and drive engineering/product decisions based on data analysis
• Comfort working across the stack, including debugging and collaborating on UX patterns that enhance safety and trust
