Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Leading the development of data science and advanced analytics solutions, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will work remotely to support underwriting insight, operational performance, and risk management while ensuring compliance and explainability in a regulated insurance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver predictive analytics and modeling solutions aligned with business needs and regulatory expectations
• Translate complex business problems into scalable analytical use cases and oversee the design, validation, and monitoring of predictive models
• Communicate insights effectively to non-technical leaders and partner with data governance and risk teams to ensure model compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, engineering, or related fields
• Proven success in building and scaling enterprise data platforms and modern data architectures
• Deep expertise in data governance, data engineering, and analytics enablement
• Experience in the insurance industry, including risk and regulatory considerations (preferred)
