Job Summary
Owning assigned workflows, the hybrid Senior Data Scientist, AI will independently build, test, and enhance AI solutions using Python, while applying established evaluation frameworks and collaborating with engineering and product teams.
Key responsibilities
- Independently build, test, and improve LLM, RAG, and tool-using agent workflows for assigned use cases
- Apply evaluation criteria and select technical approaches based on quality, reliability, latency, and cost
- Diagnose and resolve issues, implementing and validating fixes for workflow failures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in a quantitative or technical field preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning, applied AI, or software engineering
- Hands-on experience building and evaluating LLM applications
- Strong knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, semantic search, and retrieval systems
- Experience with Databricks for building and deploying scalable data and AI solutions
