Senior Data Scientist II

Job Summary

Owning the analytical and experimentation roadmap for ranking and relevance, the full-time Senior Data Scientist II will partner with Product, Engineering, and ML teams to enhance advertiser outcomes and user value in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the data science strategy and roadmap for ranking and relevance
• Collaborate with engineers to improve ranking models and design experiments that lead to actionable recommendations
• Measure and analyze the impact of changes on user and advertiser segments, guiding senior leaders on product decisions

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied analytics with ownership of complex analytical problems
• Experience in defining and executing analytical roadmaps for ranking, relevance, or recommendations
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, preferably Python
• Demonstrated ability to design measurement frameworks that account for selection bias and marketplace dynamics
• Experience working with large-scale data systems such as Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, or Spark
