Senior Data Scientist, RWE

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Scientist, RWE to work full-time, remotely or onsite, focusing on leading observational studies, deriving insights from complex clinical data, and implementing advanced statistical methods in the life sciences sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of RWE analyses for pharmaceutical clients, translating complex drug development questions into actionable research plans
• Derive complex real-world endpoints using extensive coding while serving as an expert on the methodological nuances of real-world data
• Build technical standards for the team, staying updated on methodological advancements and contributing to reusable code and internal packages

Required qualifications

• PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, public health, or related field with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 4+ years of experience
• Expert-level proficiency with observational real-world healthcare data and analytical experience with time-to-event methodologies
• Proficient in R and SQL, particularly with statistical tools and packages
• Experience applying machine learning and LLM-based coding assistants to support data analysis and documentation workflows
• Demonstrated experience interfacing with clients and presenting to various stakeholders
