Senior Data Scientist with Security Clearance

Job Summary

Leading the development of statistical and machine learning models, the full-time Senior Data Scientist with Security Clearance will work remotely to support the FALCON effort by deriving models to detect kinematic behaviors and developing simulations for analytics integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design analytic solutions that meet customer needs and enhance existing solutions for quality and performance
• Integrate data from multiple sources to create a common operating picture and perform data processing activities
• Produce analytic reports and presentations for stakeholders, while implementing machine learning algorithms to improve existing models

Required qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with a current Top Secret security clearance and/or CBP/DHS suitability
• Master's in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipline with 5+ years of industry experience (or a Bachelor's with 10+ years)
• Proficient in Python and libraries such as pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn
• 7+ years of experience applying machine learning techniques to time series and/or geospatial data
• Strong statistical background in statistical testing, regression, and probability
