Senior Data Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Data Solutions Engineer will design and implement data pipelines, optimize data transformations, and provide operational support while mentoring junior team members.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver strategic data solutions using modern data engineering principles based on business requirements
- Independently implement and optimize data ingestion and transformation jobs for downstream consumption
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are robust, compliant, and reusable
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of four years of programming experience in Python, Julia, and/or R, with proficiency in SQL
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, cloud technologies, and data operations
- Robust knowledge of data lakes, data governance, and modern data quality techniques
- Experience with Databricks, Dagster, and/or DBT is preferred
