Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

Owning the reliability and performance of production ClickHouse clusters, the full-time Senior Database Administrator will design standard architecture, manage cluster lifecycles, and implement monitoring and alerting systems in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the reliability and performance of ClickHouse clusters, managing them across self-hosted and managed services
• Design and implement architecture and tooling for scaling multi-node clusters efficiently
• Develop monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users

Required Qualifications:

• Deep DBA-level knowledge of ClickHouse, including data storage, merging, replication, and query optimization
• Experience running and maintaining stateful workloads on Kubernetes in production environments
• Proficiency in database security practices, including encryption and access control
• Strong troubleshooting skills across the database stack, including Kubernetes, Linux, and networking
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation using mainstream tools and programming languages
