Job Summary
Working remotely within the United States, the full-time Senior Database Administrator will manage database operations, support application teams, and maintain data pipelines while ensuring database health and compliance in a dynamic IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support database maintenance tasks, including patching, backup, and recovery procedures
- Modify and review database changes, ensuring compliance with performance and security standards
- Monitor database health and performance, providing troubleshooting support for application-related issues
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in an Oracle DBA or related role, with proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) version 10g or higher
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle Data Guard and AWS/Database using PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Experience with Unix scripting and SAS Data Integration Studio (SAS-DI)
- SQL expertise in Oracle, Teradata, and IBM Workload Scheduler
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and reside within the country (excluding Alaska and Hawaii)
