Senior Database Administrator
Job Summary
To support a government client, the remote Senior Database Administrator will design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions and pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop a thorough understanding of business objectives
- Design schemas and scalable data models that support self-service analytics and AI workloads
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipeline workflows using AWS and Snowflake tools
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with ten or more years of experience in a related role
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake tools, SQL, and Python
- Strong proficiency in DevSecOps, AWS services, and Jenkins
- Knowledge of data modeling, data integration patterns, and modern data architecture
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and Scrum methodologies
