Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

To support a high-growth environment, the full-time Senior Database Administrator will manage the reliability and performance of production ClickHouse clusters remotely while designing scalable architecture and automation for multi-node clusters.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the reliability and performance of production ClickHouse clusters, including self-hosted and managed services
• Design standard architecture and tooling to facilitate the growth of multi-node clusters with minimal operational overhead
• Build monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users

Required qualifications:

• Deep DBA-level knowledge of ClickHouse, including data storage, merging, replication, and querying
• Experience managing stateful workloads on Kubernetes in production environments
• Proficiency in database security practices, including encryption and access control
• Strong troubleshooting skills across the entire technology stack, from queries to infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and automation using mainstream tools
