Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

To support a high-growth environment, the full-time Senior Database Administrator will manage the reliability and performance of production ClickHouse clusters, design scalable architecture, and oversee the entire cluster lifecycle while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the reliability and performance of production ClickHouse clusters, whether self-hosted or managed
• Design standard architecture and tooling for scaling multi-node clusters efficiently
• Build monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues

Required Qualifications:

• Deep knowledge of ClickHouse with hands-on experience running it in production
• Experience managing stateful workloads on Kubernetes and using a Kubernetes operator for databases
• Strong troubleshooting skills across the entire stack, including queries, schema design, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code and at least one programming or scripting language for automation
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure on major providers
