Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

To support NAVSUP's AWS GovCloud environment, the full-time salaried Senior Database Administrator will manage the installation, configuration, and administration of the Informatica Data Governance Suite and Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring security, performance, and reliability in both pre-production and production settings.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and sustain Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog, Axon Data Governance, and Mulesoft Data Quality, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Establish secure connectivity and integrate various data management platforms, including Yellowbrick and Informatica PowerCenter, for effective metadata cataloging and governance
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing and validation procedures, maintaining technical documentation and facilitating knowledge transfer

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical field preferred
• Advanced hands-on experience with enterprise data-management platforms, including Informatica and Mulesoft
• Strong familiarity with integrating relational data warehouses such as Yellowbrick or Oracle
• Experience with AWS or AWS GovCloud services and related security controls
• Current DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II baseline certification required at the start of performance
