Senior Database Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Alder platform, the full-time Senior Database Engineer will design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server-based databases and reporting systems while ensuring operational reliability and performance in a collaborative Agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate product requirements and design database objects using version control and traceability
- Coordinate release activities for secure deployments and maintain system reliability and performance
- Deliver backend data for analytics and support on-premises virtual machines using Microsoft SQL Server
Required qualifications
- Proficient in Transact-SQL development for analytical data stores and operational queries
- Experience with SSIS projects and packages for workflow orchestration and report delivery
- Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse concepts for efficient implementations
- Familiarity with Agile Kanban and Sprint practices
- Ability to perform query performance analysis and troubleshooting for complex systems
