Senior Database Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance healthcare solutions, the full-time remote Senior Database Engineer will design, deploy, and optimize SQL Server environments on Azure, while managing database performance and reliability in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize SQL Server environments hosted on Azure
- Diagnose and resolve complex database and application performance issues
- Drive automation initiatives to improve infrastructure scalability and eliminate manual processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of Windows Server (2019+) administration experience
- 5+ years of SQL Server (2019+) administration and database design experience
- 5+ years supporting and optimizing SQL Server 2019 clusters on an Azure VM
- Experience with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools
