Senior Databricks Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support global enterprises in building large-scale data platforms, the full-time Senior Databricks Data Engineer will ingest and model cost, supplier, and logistics data from Oracle E-Business Suite and SLICwave into Databricks, working remotely within the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Ingest cost and supplier data from Oracle E-Business Suite into Databricks using various ingestion methods
- Implement incremental and batch refresh patterns for data sources and configure schema evolution in Databricks pipelines
- Model data to ensure it links to parts, revisions, and BOM structures from engineering sources
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on building ingestion pipelines on Databricks
- Working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite data structures and multi-org security model
- Experience with relational ingestion into Databricks from Oracle, SQL Server, or similar databases
- Strong skills in PySpark and SQL, with knowledge of Delta Lake internals
- US citizenship and ability to work on client-furnished equipment
