Senior Databricks Data Engineer
Job Summary
To build connections between cost, supplier, and logistics data, the full-time Senior Databricks Data Engineer will ingest and model data from Oracle E-Business Suite and SLICwave into Databricks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Ingest cost and supplier data from Oracle E-Business Suite and logistics data from SLICwave into Databricks
- Implement incremental and batch refresh patterns for data sources and configure schema evolution in Databricks pipelines
- Collaborate with logistics and ERP SMEs to understand data structures and ensure data quality and lineage
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of data engineering experience, specifically with ingestion pipelines on Databricks
- Working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite data structures and relational ingestion into Databricks
- Strong skills in PySpark and SQL, with experience in Databricks declarative pipelines
- Experience with Auto Loader and file-based ingestion from S3
- U.S. citizenship and fluency in English, both written and spoken
