Job Summary
Owning the operations, security, and cost of the data platform, the full-time Senior DataOps Engineer will manage the migration from BigQuery to Snowflake, ensuring the platform is secure and efficient while supporting multiple teams across business verticals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee administration and daily operations of Snowflake, including performance and migration management
- Define and standardize data operations practices for ingestion and processing across various data types
- Implement monitoring and incident management processes to maintain platform reliability and cost transparency
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data platform engineering, DataOps, or DevOps
- Deep expertise in Snowflake administration and role-based access control
- Strong skills in security and access management, including SSO integration and encryption
- Experience with AWS data storage, particularly S3, and relevant networking
- Proficiency in building monitoring and observability for data pipelines
