Job Summary
Focused on designing and securing scalable AWS-based data platforms, the full-time Senior DataOps Engineer will work remotely to automate infrastructure, manage cloud security, and ensure compliance while addressing complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS data infrastructure using services such as S3, Glue, and Redshift
- Implement security best practices across AWS infrastructure and data pipelines, managing identity and access controls
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and develop automated CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in DataOps, DevOps, Data Engineering, or Cloud Platform Engineering
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with AWS and its data services
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions
