Senior Design Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Design Engineer will bridge product design and frontend engineering to create polished, production-quality experiences, collaborating closely with teams to ensure high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Key responsibilities
- Translate design intent into polished production experiences while maintaining a high bar for layout, typography, interaction, and accessibility
- Write clear, maintainable frontend code and make thoughtful technical and design trade-offs throughout the implementation process
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure quality and effectiveness in delivering customer value through product features
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in building substantial production UI within complex product environments
- Strong design judgment with the ability to make informed decisions in ambiguous situations
- Expertise in modern frontend development practices, including state management and performance optimization
- Familiarity with design systems and the ability to contribute to their evolution
- Experience using modern development tools, including AI-assisted development, to enhance workflow efficiency
