Senior Design Engineer

Job Summary

Building and scaling a comprehensive design system, the full-time Senior Design Engineer will establish architecture and reusable components, ensuring alignment between design and engineering in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the system's architecture and foundations across Figma and code, from primitives and tokens through components and patterns
• Build reusable, production-ready components with built-in states, interaction, motion, and accessibility features
• Define quality standards for the system and ensure design and code remain in sync as the system evolves

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building production frontend design systems for multiple product surfaces across mobile and web
• Strong frontend engineering skills with modern web technologies and component-based architecture
• Deep experience in building and maintaining component libraries and design-token pipelines
• Strong understanding of accessibility fundamentals across mobile and web
• Experience using AI to enhance prototyping and component development processes
