Senior Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing design system, the full-time Senior Design Engineer will design, build, and maintain reusable components while collaborating closely with product designers and engineers in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, document, and maintain reusable pv-components within the internal design system (PitViper)
• Create thoughtful component APIs, composition patterns, and interaction states that serve emerging product needs
• Review product surfaces for visual, behavioral, and accessibility inconsistencies, and address them appropriately

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production web interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript
• 1+ years of hands-on experience building or maintaining a design system or component library
• Production-level experience with Vue or a comparable component framework
• Demonstrable experience implementing accessibility standards (WCAG) in shipped components
• A portfolio or work sample showcasing before/after component or interaction work
