Senior Design Engineer

Job Summary

To bridge the gap between design and engineering, the full-time remote Senior Design Engineer will own and evolve Front's design system, building reusable components, improving design fidelity, and creating tooling that enhances UI quality across product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve Front's design system, ensuring clarity between design and engineering
• Build and maintain reusable, accessible UI components for product team use
• Establish patterns and conventions to enhance consistency and developer experience

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in designing and building production frontend experiences, preferably in complex B2B SaaS
• Strong frontend engineering skills with modern web technologies and component-based architecture
• Experience building or maintaining component libraries and design-engineering infrastructure
• Strong understanding of accessibility fundamentals and inclusive design practices
• A portfolio demonstrating impactful design-engineering work, including production UI and component systems
