Senior Designer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Designer will focus on information architecture, user research, and product design, ensuring the delivery of a large, content-rich digital portal while mentoring team members and collaborating with government stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the portal's information architecture, including navigation, site maps, and user flows
• Plan and conduct user research to inform design decisions and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations
• Create and maintain design deliverables such as wireframes and prototypes, while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent experience in place of education
• Demonstrated experience conducting user research and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data
• 2+ years of experience focused on information architecture with a portfolio showcasing relevant work
• Experience designing for large, complex digital portals or applications
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma or Miro
