Senior Developer Relations Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Senior Developer Relations Manager, this role will manage developer presence and engagement, coordinate cross-functional teams, and maintain community credibility while driving adoption of Backblaze B2 as the preferred storage layer for developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Backblaze B2 is recognized as the best storage layer for developers and their agents by defining "agent-ready" standards and driving execution across teams
• Coordinate efforts among engineering, documentation, content, and solutions engineering teams to maintain a unified developer strategy and share outputs with the community
• Establish a feedback loop with the developer community to surface integration needs and adoption friction, while defining success metrics for the developer program

Required Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in DevRel, developer marketing, or developer experience within cloud infrastructure, open source, or AI tooling sectors
• Strong understanding of how agentic workflows influence developer tool discovery and integration, with a strategic vision for DevRel
• Technical credibility, including the ability to read code, evaluate SDKs, and engage in technical discussions with engineers
• Experience working independently or in small teams, leveraging cross-functional relationships and community engagement
• Established presence in developer communities, demonstrated through a following, conference talks, or contributions to open source projects
