Job Summary
To contribute to secure, privacy-focused product experiences, the full-time Senior Developer, Rust will build foundational services and developer tools while working remotely within the United States or Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Write and maintain reliable server-side platform components using Rust and Go
- Contribute to feature design, development, and release, while documenting technical solutions
- Mentor and coach teammates, providing timely feedback on code submissions and design documents
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a SaaS environment
- At least 1 year of experience shipping production Rust code
- Proficiency in asynchronous Rust within the Tokio ecosystem and familiarity with the Rust Tower ecosystem
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including HTTP and TCP
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Kubernetes
