A company is looking for a Senior Developmental Editor to lead the editorial process for published books.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the editorial lifecycle of manuscripts, ensuring they meet project goals in voice, tone, and structure
- Manage multiple projects, maintaining communication with authors and ghostwriters while ensuring timely completion of editorial deliverables

Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of editorial experience in publishing, with 3-5 years focused on book publishing
- Ability to manage 15 to 20 book projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards
- Mastery of The Chicago Manual of Style and experience with house style guides
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Proficiency in industry-standard publishing tools and software
