Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the architecture and strategy for Platform Services, the remote Senior DevOps Engineer will influence technical decisions, design scalable solutions, and drive automation processes to enhance operational efficiency and security.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical direction of Platform Services supporting FedRAMP High and IL5 environments
- Design and enhance Kubernetes-based deployment systems, CI/CD pipelines, and federal promotion automation
- Drive automation of operational and compliance processes to improve reliability and deployment consistency
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Operations with technical leadership across complex initiatives
- Strong object-oriented programming experience in Python, Go, Ruby, Java, or similar languages
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS in production environments
- Proven ability to build platform tooling and self-service solutions that enhance developer experience
- Strong understanding of reliability, observability, security, and compliance requirements in regulated environments
