Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior DevOps Engineer will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, contribute to architecture discussions, and ensure the observability and resilience of microservices and APIs on AWS.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies, and Infrastructure as Code tools in alignment with DevSecOps principles
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and assist in the estimation, prioritization, and planning of development tasks
- Conduct regular security reviews, risk assessments, and vulnerability management activities for microservices and AWS infrastructure
Required qualifications
- Proficient in AWS services including EKS, EC2, Lambda, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CDK
- Experience with programming languages such as Go, Python, or Typescript, along with Bash scripting for automation
- Strong understanding of security practices within DevSecOps frameworks
- US Citizenship or Green Card, with residency in the US for at least the past 3 years
- Able to meet requirements for holding a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation
