Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a long-term project, the remote contract Senior DevOps Engineer will manage release engineering across multiple teams, improve automated deployment paths for Azure applications, and migrate pipelines from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions while working EST hours.
Key responsibilities
- Own release engineering by planning, coordinating, and executing deployments across teams with shared dependencies
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for secure and scalable delivery patterns
- Develop scripts and tooling to automate manual processes and enhance developer self-service capabilities
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, release engineering, or cloud engineering roles
- Expertise in Azure platform as a service, including function apps and networking
- Deep experience with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and agile delivery practices
