Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance system reliability and performance, the full-time Senior DevOps Engineer will build and maintain a scalable observability platform on Kubernetes and AWS, collaborating closely with development teams to improve deployment pipelines and system observability metrics.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate a standardized observability platform for metrics, logs, and tracing
- Implement Infrastructure as Code principles to manage cloud-based infrastructure and streamline operations through automation
- Partner with engineering teams to standardize telemetry collection and define SLIs/SLOs for system performance optimization
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of experience in DevOps or observability roles
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and its observability services
- Advanced knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes ecosystem
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Strong programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go
