Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Focusing on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), the full-time Senior DevOps Engineer will manage and optimize Azure SQL Elastic Pools, lead initiatives for high availability and disaster recovery, and implement observability and automation solutions in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, scale, and optimize Azure SQL Elastic Pools while monitoring performance and establishing observability
- Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring business continuity across critical services
- Develop automated solutions for provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance tasks to enhance system reliability
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles with a focus on cloud infrastructure and systems reliability
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Azure SQL Elastic Pools, including performance tuning and automation
- 5+ years of expertise in Azure cloud services, including networking, compute, and databases
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep
- Strong scripting skills using Azure CLI and PowerShell for automation tasks
