Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance operational efficiency, the full-time Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and manage automation processes and tools remotely, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and performance of IT solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and document automation strategies while partnering with developers to implement continuous integration pipelines
- Monitor infrastructure to maximize uptime and troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner
- Conduct research and evaluation of DevOps tools, performing installations, configurations, and training as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent training
- Expertise in maintaining Linux/Unix systems and scripting
- Proficient in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and automation tools like Jenkins and Ansible
- Experience with cloud hosting solutions, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Deep knowledge of software deployment, versioning, and release management processes
