Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the build system for a complex software product, the full-time Senior DevOps Engineer will design and maintain build pipelines, automate release processes, and ensure fast, reproducible builds while working remotely or onsite in various locations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve the build system for a large product with interdependent components
• Build and maintain end-to-end build pipelines, managing dependencies and ensuring reproducibility
• Automate build tooling and release steps, integrating with source control and issue tracking workflows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in build, release, or DevOps engineering for complex software products
• Strong CI/CD engineering experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Solid experience with software packaging and binary distribution on Linux
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for build tooling and automation
• Familiarity with software supply chain practices, including dependency and vulnerability scanning
