Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and evolving the build system for a complex software product, the full-time Senior DevOps Engineer will manage build pipelines, automate release processes, and ensure reproducibility and trustworthiness of builds in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the build system, ensuring isolated and reproducible builds, dependency management, and artifact repositories
• Assemble and validate release deliverables while operating the release pipeline, including automated build validation and artifact signing
• Support developers and QA by providing fast self-service builds and diagnosing build and packaging failures

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in build, release, or DevOps engineering for complex software products, with ownership of a complete build system
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, and solid knowledge of software packaging on Linux
• Proficient in Python and shell scripting for build tooling and release automation
• Deep understanding of dependency and version management, reproducible builds, and incremental builds
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools for development and troubleshooting
