Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the infrastructure for dedicated multiplayer servers, the fully remote Senior DevOps Engineer will architect and manage systems for server allocation, scaling, and backend operations while mentoring other engineers and setting technical direction.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and manage multiplayer server orchestration, allocation, and lifecycle systems
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure across regions, including autoscaling and health checks
- Lead technical design for major platform initiatives and ensure production reliability through incident response and root-cause analysis
Required qualifications
- Extensive professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
- Strong understanding of dedicated game servers and multiplayer networking
- Deep knowledge of Linux, networking, and Docker
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Strong scripting or programming ability in at least one language (e.g., Go, Python, Bash)
