Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely and full-time, the Senior DevOps Engineer will build and run CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning and automated testing, while helping to migrate applications onto a DoD software factory for a U.S. Air Force program office.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with security scanning and automated testing integrated from the start
- Assist in migrating applications onto a DoD software factory and evaluate pipeline options for the portfolio
- Coach government engineers to ensure modern DevOps practices are maintained after project completion
Required qualifications
- Experience with modern software development concepts and collaboration with software engineers
- Proficiency in managing cloud-centric systems and ensuring their availability and reliability
- Knowledge of building secure applications and defending against common vulnerabilities
- Experience working in a government or regulated environment with formal security authorization processes
- Ability to create and maintain infrastructure as code and standardize deployment processes
